1. All homework assignments are optional. I recommend that you complete them, both to earn points and to get the best learning experience from the class.
2. The final exam in June is mandatory. To graduate from the class you have to complete the exam.
3. There are 2 due dates for the homework assignments. The first, earlier date is the "punctuality" date. If you hand in your assignment on or before this date, you will be awarded bonus points. If you finish your homework after this date you won't get the bonus marks. Lastly, if you hand in your homework after the final due date, I'll still mark it and provide feedback, but you will not receive points for it.
4. All homework should be submitted to me, in the body of an email, to my email address
prof_lasgalen@yahoo.ca Homework sent as an attachment will not be marked unless you contact me before hand and tell me that you're sending an attachment.
5. Always include your full HOL name and ID with your homework.
6. Please use the same email address to send your homework. Please don't switch back and forth between addresses.
7. You must join the MSN group, History of Middle Earth. All official email messages from me will be sent to you through this group. If you can't join for some reason, please let me know in advance.
